Fundraising and Resource Mobilization

Fundraising and resource mobilisation initiatives enable the Foundation to sustain and expand its outreach programmes. Through creative events and community partnerships, these projects generate vital support while engaging volunteers and donors in meaningful, purpose-driven activities.

The NGHS Non Nobis Foundation hosted its Art-Tea Party Fundraiser on Sunday 29th October, 2017 at the Naparima Girls’ High School Cafeteria, inviting patrons and supporters to “Discover Your Inner Artist” in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

Participants enjoyed an afternoon of guided painting, refreshments and fellowship under the instruction of Ms. Sharon Burford of Arty Partytt, whose encouragement and step-by-step guidance ensured that everyone, regardless of experience, was able to create a colourful and expressive masterpiece.

The Foundation provided all art supplies and refreshments, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the creative process while enjoying a warm and engaging social atmosphere. Laughter, conversation and creativity filled the room as canvases came to life.

Proceeds from the event supported the Foundation’s community outreach and student development initiatives. The Art-Tea Party Fundraiser 2017 served as both a successful fundraising initiative and a celebration of creativity, connection and service.

The sale featured a curated collection of books, gift items, and jewelry, which included a “Gently Used” section offering more affordable finds. Shoppers were able to support a meaningful cause while enjoying a variety of thoughtfully selected items perfect for the holiday season.

Our Foundation members played an active role in organizing, managing, and promoting the sale, the event reflecting the Foundation’s commitment to community engagement, service, and helping to fund programs that continue to shine light and make a difference for others.
