NGHS Virtual Career Day
The NGHS Non Nobis Foundation, with the support of the school’s administration, proudly hosted its Virtual Career Day for Forms 3–6 students on Friday, April 22nd, 2022. This initiative was rooted in the Foundation’s mission of promoting volunteerism and truly embodied our motto, “Shine your light for others.”

Through the selfless service of our members and presenters, students were given the invaluable opportunity to explore future career pathways, gain guidance on subject selection, and receive encouragement as they prepare for further academic pursuits. An outstanding cadre of professionals volunteered their time and expertise, spanning a wide range of industries including medicine, engineering, law, finance, environmental science, artificial intelligence, creative arts, aviation, diplomacy, and more.
Our presenters joined from across the globe – including representatives from China, the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom – reflecting both the diversity and calibre of the NGHS community. With over 267 student participants, the event served as a powerful example of how service, mentorship, and shared knowledge can inspire young women to pursue their potential and shine their light forward.
“Shine Your Light” Poster Competition
The NGHS Non Nobis Foundation’s “Shine Your Light” Poster Competition was held from September 19, 2023 – October 28, 2023. The theme of the competition was based on the Foundation’s purpose and motto to engender support and involvement for volunteerism with the winning artwork to be reflected on a permanent sign at the school.

After much deliberation over the excellent submissions for the Poster Competition, we were very excited to announce our Overall Winner, Leniece Williamson of Form 3N! Leniece’s unique presentation of the competition’s theme was subsequently placed on a permanent poster at the Waving Gallery which displays information about the mission of the NGHS Non Nobis Foundation, to help inform and inspire students at NGHS to support and participate in volunteer activities that help those in need.
