Visitors enjoyed wholesome offerings such as sugar-free banana bread, oatmeal-apple muffins, homegrown eggs, locally made pepper sauce, and a variety of plants. The event provided children with a meaningful opportunity to learn entrepreneurship, responsibility, and environmental awareness. By nurturing creativity and sustainable practices, the Kids Christmas Market celebrated the holiday season in a way that supported both community connection and care for the planet.

In celebration of World Book Day on April 23, 2024, the NGHS Non Nobis Foundation hosted our “Give the Gift of Reading” Drive. Thanks to the generous contributions from our donors, the drive was an incredible success, with books being collected for children ages 3 and up.
This initiative was led and executed by our dedicated members Keisha Baig-Ramsamooj and Shanta Dhoray-Baig, who worked with the support of students from the NGHS Non Nobis Club to sort and pack the books into various categories for donation. The books were then donated to 3 institutions – the La Romaine Government ECCE Centre, the Woodland Hindu Primary School and the Union Claxton Bay Secondary School.
Both students and teachers were excited to receive and begin using their books, bringing joy and happiness to all of us at the Foundation as we continue our volunteer work to make a positive impact in our communities!
